Black American Music: From the Church to the Club

Jazz musician Jose Holloway will be performing at the Beth El Heritage Hall. Born and raised in Little Rock, this talented artist is known for his mastery of the trumpet. In addition to following his love of jazz, Jose Holloway is an award winning educator who was named the 2019 Middle School Educator of the Year by Little Rock Family Magazine. He has played with or opened up for many noted artists like Kirk Whalum and Bethany Devine. Mr. Holloway also plays with local groups and artists such as "The Funkanites" and Sean Fresh. He recently released his debut single as a solo artist entitled, "Pray (feat. Sheena V)." Jose Holloway also has a newly released album titled "Quarantine and Chill (feat. Rafael Powell)." The Beth El Heritage Hall is a unique and historical venue at Helena, Arkansas which is the perfect spot to enjoy and relax to the sound of jazz performed by a wonderful musician.
