Community Economic Development Summit

ALCDC’s successful programmatic partnership approaches have experienced many successes in housing and economic development, family farm retention and youth services. ALCDC’s vision and commitment, along with partnerships, supporters, and friends continue our process for addressing the many challenges and needs for the underserved and underprivileged in rural areas. Representatives from United States Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resource Service, Farm Service Agency and Rural Development will present on their available services. Summit Agenda Summary: • ALCDC’s New & Beginning Farmers & Ranchers (Veterans) Program • Micro-Urban Farming • Conservation Risk Management Practices for Limited Resource & Historically Underserved Farmers, Ranchers & Landowners • Equality and Equity Resource Opportunities for Heir Property and Housing Participants who may want to meet on an individual basis regarding our Beginning Farmers & Ranchers Program, heir property and technical production practices may engage immediately after the Summit for One-On-One Consultations with ALCDC Staff. This year’s Summit has been designed very specifically to your farming & ranching and community economic development needs. We urge you to attend and take advantage of this opportunity.
