The youth will perform their work as a free event streamed live online. The public is invited to tune in to  , Thursday, August 6, at 6 p.m., to watch the performance.
These young artists will also perform songs from the civil rights era.
Set in 1963 Helena, the play recalls a time in the history of the Arkansas Delta and the nation when protests against social injustices revolutionized the nation-- even in Helena, Arkansas, when protests were all afoot. The play centers on the sit-in at was then Henry's Drug Store and Soda Fountain in the heart of downtown Helena.
