Delta Cultural Center African American Film Festival: Jeremy Brooks

The DCC's African American Film Festival begins Feb. 2, with a special series of films celebrating African American Culture and its influence on the film and entertainment industry. "Jeremy Brooks," the final film of the series, is about an ambitious professional seeking to hit it big as a leading anchor in the television news business. Jeremy lets his personal life and bouts with friends hold him back. Struggling within himself, his life is in a holding pattern until his focus and ambition are realigned with a new found faith in God and in himself.
Jeremy Brooks” is an adaptation of the Kyle T. Miller play, "Ashley & Jeremy," which opened in December of 2004. Released in 2015, "Jeremy Brooks" is not rated. Running Time: 1 hour 59 min.
