Delta Days Living History Program February 1, 7 & 8 Juain Young and Artists United will present a magical, exciting, educational journey through history. This production will touch the hearts and minds of all ages through living history reenactments told from living history actors. Hand clapping, foot tapping, dancing, singing and oral history will flow and unlock many treasures to its audience about the AR Delta. In this production students and adults alike will be enlightened and educated about life in the Arkansas Delta from the 1800's to the 1970s through living history reenactments dealing with subjects such as agriculture, its diverse people/communities, education, parenting, survival, field songs, music, and the great influential people of the area and those who traveled through the Delta. This production will not only feature amazing professional actors/singers from the Little Rock area but also from the Helena/West Helena area. This year’s program will emphasize Gospel and Blues Artists of the Arkansas Delta.
