1. SIP AND PAINT with Mu Chi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Enjoy juice and snacks as you follow along, painting an amazing small masterpiece to take home!

2. Join Faith Outreach Church and Faith Harvesters on the large, grassy lot directly behind Freeman Playground for an exciting ARCHERY PROGRAM!
Limit of 30 students in each Saturday's archery program. Please have an adult with you to join in the fun and also sign a release form. An archery net will be in place to catch arrows that possibly miss the target and 4 students will be called up at a time and lead through the correct way to shoot with 5 adult instructors. 3. Join Mississippi River State Park at Freeman Playground to discover and study special animals that call the Delta and Crowley's Ridge home. Then, Enjoy snow cones donated by the Friends of the Saint Francis National Forest and Mississippi River State Park.
July 5th
Snake, Rattle, and Roll
With all the misconceptions and old wives tales surrounding snakes, many people forget just how important and necessary they are to a healthy ecosystem. Snakes play an essential role in keeping many of our pest population in check. Join Park Interpreter Cara for a glimpse into the often misunderstood world of snakes. Find out if they do shake, rattle, or roll.

Beautiful Butterflies
Explore the changes butterflies go through from egg to adult. Participants will get the opportunity to change into beautiful butterflies with customs and face painting that help participants identify insect parts!

Turtle Time
Have you ever wondered about all those turtles crossing the roads? Join us for an up close & personal visit with our native turtles. Park Interpreter Cara will point out different ways that you can identify the different turtles of Arkansas.

Name that fish!
Fun rhymes and mental challenge to see if you can guess the names of our local fish! You may even discover interesting facts about them you did not already know.

Join us at Freeman Playground for the 3rd annual School Supplies Saturday! Students will pick a backpack then have their backpack filled with lots and lots of school supplies for the 2019-2020 school year!
