The Delta Cultural Center is proud to announce the Grand Opening of our new state of the art exhibition titled "Building For Tomorrow: E.C. Morris, Centennial Church and the Black Baptists During Jim Crow." After years of preparation and study, this new exhibition will tell the story of how African American leaders such as the Reverend Elias Camp Morris of Centennial Church at Helena, Arkansas, along with other Baptist and national leaders like Booker T. Washington dealt with segregated America during the early 20th century. DCC Curator Drew Ulrich will provide a synopsis of the development of the exhibit. There will also be a host of dignitaries and music provided. Following the presentation, the interactive exhibit will be open to the public.
