Scipio Jones: Intelligent and Wise
The Delta Cultural Center is featuring a new exhibit titled Scipio Africanus Jones: Both Intelligent and Wise. On March 5, at 10:30am, there will be a storytelling program. Judge Brian Miller will read Pat Kenzle's book by the same title ( illustrated by Phillips County artist, Candace Dolls) to elementary students. A living history actor will portray Scipio Jones. Kenzel along with Dolls will also discuss the creative process in developing the book. Refreshments will be served.
