About Us

The Delta Cultural Center is an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage. We serve the 27 counties of eastern Arkansas and exist to preserve the heritage of the Arkansas Delta. We do this through research, interpretation, exhibits, and special events. The museum consists of the Visitors Center with galleries for changing exhibits and the Delta Sounds room, home of the King Biscuit Time radio broadcast, and the Depot which houses a permanent exhibit about the Arkansas Delta. In addition, we have several other properties, including Civil War sites Battery C, Fort Curtis, and Freedom Park that are open daily, and the Moore-Hornor House, and Beth El Heritage Hall which are open only for special events.
