Teach For America - Arkansas is a program that places high achieving and mission-aligned individuals as teachers for two years in low-income and under-served schools in the Arkansas Delta. The program has been placing teachers in Arkansas since 1991.
Teach For America - Arkansas recently purchased a building on Missouri Street that is designed to be its Helena office as well as a community space. Teach For America is looking forward to partnering with local organizations and businesses to help fulfill the mission and vision of the space: to be a place that as a place that allows for collaboration between the broader citizenry and educators of Helena and the surrounding communities, develops and retain outstanding educators, and contributes to the ongoing development of Helena’s historic downtown.
