DESCRIPTION:The grand opening of "Two Generations Removed: Contemporary Artistic Portrayals of African Americans in the Early Twentieth Century Delta" is set for Friday\, September 4\, at 2:00 p.m. The exhibition opening will be held at the Delta Cultural Center (DCC)\, located at 141 Cherry Street\, in historic downtown Helena. the public is invited. Admission is free.\n\n\n\nDue to public health and safety concerns related to COVID-19\, all guests will be required to follow social distancing guidelines. In compliance with these guidelines\, the number of guests will also be limited. In addition\, the opening day program will also be shared with the public as a free live stream event at\nFacebook.com/DeltaCulturalCenter\n.\n\n\n\nGuests will have the opportunity to meet Artist Danny Broadway who will offer insight on his work and its correlations with broader historical subjects that are significant to the Delta and the rural South.
