DESCRIPTION:Parade has been moved to a different date due to cold temperatures. The Martin Luther King Jr. Parade Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1968 assassination will start off at the Doughboy on Cherry Street in Helena on Saturday\, April 7\, 2018\, at 12 noon.  Everyone is invited to enter a float\, walking group\, or vehicle in the parade. Bands will not the line up as Charles Byrd\, music coordinator\, lines up new bands.  Following the parade\, participants and parade watchers will gather in front of the Court House for words of commemoration and a "play around" with the bands.  For more information or to register\, call 870-338-8900 or pick up a registration form at the Chamber of Commerce.
