DESCRIPTION:Join the Arkansas Kids Count Coalition next month to learn how to plan your advocacy efforts to help children. In this workshop\, we will kick off with a panel of child advocates working on a range of issues to talk about what was successful in their advocacy efforts and what challenges they faced. You'll then get an overview about the ins and outs of creating an advocacy campaign\, before breaking out into a table discussion where you'll work with your peers to create a sample advocacy plan. When you leave the workshop\, you'll have the foundational knowledge you need to create a campaign to help improve the lives of kids on an issue you care about.
